“ Went here for a Christmas Eve dinner and it was great! The dining area when you walk in is kind of on the small side but there's a bar on the opposite of the restaurant with more seating. I really liked the mood lighting. Our server was super nice and gave great recommendations. We started off with drinks, the jumbo shrimp cocktail and the wedge salad. They do charge a $2 fee to share the salad. Both portions were huge but the salad was fresh and tasty. For the entree I got the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I got the filet medium rare but it was kind of dry. My mom got the halibut and really enjoyed it. Overall not bad and I would come again with my family. ”

“ I don't understand the negative reviews on Yelp. Some people can't be pleased. . . But, as for us. . .We made reservations and arrived on time. We were seated immediately. It took a few minutes to get water and menus, but it was New Year's Eve and the place was packed. We ordered a bottle of wine. The wine list is extensive, but it is not cheap, even by the glass. After ordering our food, it came relatively quickly. The steaks were great cuts, without excess fat or grizzle. Cooked to perfection. The sides are big enough to share, and are delicious as well. Overall, service was excellent, and our waiter checked in on us several times. A great experience! ”

“ Really depends on your food preference and call basis. The food quality is medium sometimes but price is always on the top end, which makes it seem like almost getting robbed. Ambience is the same as Zoe's been, which is a good thing as seems like a good old basic steakhouse sandwich between an area of subpar, restaurants, and laundromats. ”

“ Came here for my besties birthday dinner. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful. The service was great! We started off with the lemon pepper shrimp - white wine, garlic, and fresh lemon juice. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and it was good. I just wish it had more flavor. We all ordered the filet mignon. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were there! Unfortunately, they mixed up my friend's steaks! We ordered 2 sauces for our steaks, the port wine, and the mushroom. I found them to be very sweet. I didn't want the other sauces because I personally don't think they go well with steak. I wish they had a sauce with some zing, but again, that's my opinion. We ordered garlic mash, asparagus, and sautéed onions for our sides. The potatoes were good, I just didn't prefer the chunks of garlic in them. The asparagus was good but could have used some flavor, and I really enjoyed the onions. Overall, we had a great experience and evening. ”

“ Chris was our waiter - fantastic guy whom we have known for years in the industry. We started with cocktails - the place looks great, the waiters are all dressed in uniform and are extremely skilled and well-mannered. It was 5 friends meeting after a few years not seeing each other - we were extremely loud but were tolerated. Cocktails and other libations were flowing and precisely poured. If you are a macho man like the late great Randy Savage - this place has got some amazing meat! Get your choppers ready to chew! Porterhouse for 3 but split it only 2 ways? Yes, please! I had the double-bone pork chop with a side of rigatoni. One of our friends had filet butterflied medium. The appetizers were huge, fresh, delicious, and enough to share, which we did. This place is 5 stars all around - I highly recommend! ”

“ Came for a late lunch on a weekday, very quiet (took a while to alert someone we had arrived) but they were very accommodating since we were one of only 2 tables. Decent prices on wine- we split a bottle of red. The host saw we were still chatting at the end of the meal with no wine left, and brought us each a complimentary pour of the same bottle, always appreciated! For entrees since there were 2 of us so we each got a salad and split one steak- the 32 oz. rib eye. The salads were fantastic- caesar salad was chopped nicely with plenty of dressing and good flavor. The tri color salad also very good. Steak arrived sizzling and was cooked perfectly, crisp outer shell and perfect temperature (medium rare) on the inside. We got the peppercorn sauce on the side which was a great addition. Would definitely return! ”

“ Do you want really good steak? Come here. (I think this place is often overlooked. Never seems to be crowded.) This is a traditional steak house... The steak is over the top. Always prepared to the temp you desire. Always perfect! I always get the smallest filet. 10 Oz. And, always have leftovers. The sides are delish and generous. All are good. We love the mushrooms, onions, and spinach. And, all are good! You can't go wrong. The service is beyond compare. Your meal is brought out on a white table cloth covered cart. The appetizers have a great selection. The salads are def large enough to share. They do have fantastic desserts - try to save room. (It's a challenge.) The cheesecake is traditional NY style. Yum! Plan on bringing home left overs. ”
